Rapper Common and his charity organization focused on empowering and developing urban youth held a benefit show at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday night where Nas, Ludacris, Mos Def, De La Soul, Heavy D and Queen Latifah were some of the featured performers. So was jackass Kanye West. Guess which one of the people listed in attendance threw an epic temper tantrum backstage? I will bet you'll never guess which one! Yup, shocking news about Kanye West again. Turns out he hasn't learned his lesson from the infamous Taylor Swift incident and he is still a complete fucking jackass. According to reports, the rapper threw another one of his egotistical tantrums backstage. Janet Charlton's Hollywood report:
Kanye West made a fool of himself again Saturday night at Common’s benefit concert at The Palladium in Hollywood. Here’s the story: Kanye arrived minutes before he was set to go onstage as the last act of a star-studded charity show. Besides Common, Nas, Ludacris, Mos Def, De La Soul, Heavy D, Queen Latifah, and other acts had delighted the crowd.
They were all relaxing in the green room when Kanye walked in and noticed a guy eating chicken. He took offense and blurted petulantly “Why wasn’t I offered chicken? It’s NOT FAIR- you want me to perform for free - everyone is eating - WHY AM I NOT EATING!” A waiter apologized and pointed out “You didn’t ask for chicken!” -- "Well, I’m ASKING NOW!!"
Other celebrities watched Kanye’s loud chicken tantrum in total shock. His girlfriend Amber Rose just stepped back and let him rant. The waiter rushed him a plate of chicken and Kanye literally took ONE bite and dumped it before he grabbed the mic and went onstage, leaving everyone shaking their heads.
Wow, he did this at a charity show for young people. Dude threw a hissy fit over chicken? At this point, I don't know why people invite Kanye West in anything anymore. The man must be the most hated celebrity in the world except for Roman Polanski and he is a child rapist. You know things are bad when you are second only to a child rapist. Kanye West is a Jackass. And it's official. When the President of the United States of America and the leader of the free world call you a jackass it carries some serious weight. President Obama and I share the same view of the awful human being known as Kanye West. And it kinda makes my happy because I know if Kayne even got off his ass voted, he cast his vote for Obama. So I know he was really hurt when the President called him a "jackass" for the world to see and hear. Kanye West awful treatment of Taylor Swift at the Video Music Awards in New York has presidential disapproval. President Obama reportedly called Kanye West a "jackass" yesterday in reference to his drunken crashing of Taylor Swift's VMAs acceptance speech. Check out what ABC News' Terry Moran posted on his Twitter yesterday (since deleted):
Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a "jackass" for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential.
The comment was tweeted then removed by ABC News Terry Moran because he is an idiot, an untrustworthy idiot. Obama called Kanye West a "jackass" in an off-the-record statement but as the second journalist Terry "Moron" Moran is, he ran to his Twitter page and to the world something Obama clearly wanted off the record. Terry "Moron" Moran must of missed the journalism 101 class on journalistic ethic. According to Politico:
Although it wasn't long before Moran removed it, with over a million followers, the tweet quickly bounced around Twitter through various users. Now, an ABC spokesperson explains to POLITICO what happened: "In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again."
Finally, something from Obama that everyone can stand behind no matter your ideological or political. Kanye West is an awful human being and a total "jackass" douchebag asshole. Douchebag Kanye West is at it again! I hate this guy so much you just cannot even understand. He is a psychopathic manic who made little girls cry because he has no consideration for the feelings of inocent people. Kanye West embarrassed Taylor Swift in the most awesome fashion in front of millions of viewers last night at the MTV Video Music Awards by pushing her aside and hijacking the microphone and proclaiming that she didn't deserve to win the award for Best Female Video. Remember when Kanye West said "George Bush hates black people…" on live TV? Well is becoming more apparent every year that Kanye West hate white people. Kanye West is a douchebag. He has become more and more of a piece of garbage ever since he portrayed himself Jesus Christ on the cross. I am si sick of him now. Instead of stepping on little Taylor Swift, why doesn't he ever try some bullshit like this with a man or even a person bigger than him. He interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video and once again made a complete doucebag of himself at the VMAs for like the 4th consecutive year. The AP report:
Taylor Swift was relishing her unlikely win of best female video at the MTV Video Music Awards. The 19-year-old knew that the network doesn't exactly make a habit out of giving their moonman trophies to country music stars.
"I was standing on the stage and I was really excited because I had just won the award," Swift said after Sunday's show at Radio City Music Hall. "And then I was really excited because Kanye West was on the stage. And then I wasn't so excited anymore after that."
Taking the microphone, the rapper protested Swift's selection and announced that Beyonce, also nominated, should have won because her "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it)" was "one of the best videos of all time."
A stunned Swift staggered and didn't get to finish her acceptance speech. The crowd booed West, who shortly after was asked to leave the show and left the building.
Damn, fucking sociopath. What Kanye West did to the girl was so bad I an surprise he did not go all the way and punch her in the face. Why do people buy this asshole's music? Right now we should move beyond hating Kanye West for being the incredible douchebag he is and start looking at the douchebags who support him by buying his music. Where was the security to slam his face to the floor as he was storming the stage? According to MTV News:
The rapper stormed the stage just after the first award, for Best Female Video, was presented to Taylor Swift. He cut the teen singer off, grabbing the mic and protesting in support of Beyoncé.
"I'm sorry, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time," he proclaimed as B looked on from the crowd, stunned.
His protest against Swift, however, was not well received. West stood briefly on the stage after his comments as the crowd was silent. Audience members then began to clap in support of Swift after West left the stage.
According to reports from inside the house, once cameras cut away from the action, West flipped off the crowd and returned to his seat. Wale then said to the crowd, "You can't blame a man for speaking his mind." His words were met with boos, and Wale then said, "Kanye, I tried." During the next commercial break, Pink walked by the rapper and appeared to shake her head in disgust before security escorted her away.
And of course Taylor responded like any normal 19-year-old girl would and, according to sources, cried her heart out backstage. Well, she was basically victimize by the asshole. Public pressure is now spreading like wildfire against West and what he did to Taylor so here comes the apology. It's just too bad he cannot reverse time and give Taylor chance to redo her first VMA acceptance speech, Kanye West tried to make everything all better by saying sorry to Taylor Swift on his blog (don't visit his blog). In all fucking caps! So if you doubted the magnitude of Kanye West's douchebag status, the all caps should end all doubted. Just sick of his apologies again and again after each of his meltdowns. No need to issue an apology the day after if he would just stop and think before opening his big mouth. Kanye West took to his blog once again today to issue a second apology to Taylor Swift in a short, uncharacteristically lower-case post like a normal person:
I feel like Ben Stiller in "Meet the Parents" when he messed up everything and Robert De Niro asked him to leave... That was Taylor's moment and I had no right in any way to take it from her. I am truly sorry.
The asshole was smart enough to disable the comments on his blog so there is no need to visit. It is unbelievable a human being can be such a total douchebag. What the hell is wrong with him? In a classy move, Beyonce won Video of the Year at the VMAs, and instead of giving a speech, brought Taylor Swift on stage to make up for Kanye West's latest hissy fit which left her crying backstage. So a sincere hats off to Beyonce for being a great person. In the meantime, even those who defended Kanye West for his past misdeeds and hissy fits are saying he did wrong last night.
