The model does not deny the authenticity of suspected ex-boyfriend revenge video. Shou Shou stated on her website on January 14, 2010 that she reserves the right to take legal actions against any parties who defame her in this "incident." She also humbly stated that she is just an ordinary model who did not deserve such unnecessary media attention. Three days ago, several well-known media sites in China published a signed statement from Zhai Ling's site. She is personal quoted but she does not clarify whether the claims are true and false, but simply stated:

"I hereby solemnly declare that: Some people continue to defame me with malicious libel, personal attacks. I through legal means to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of myself will exercise any legal rights to stop the spread of rumors from my detractors."

Just has the sex videos of Shou Shou and an unidentified man are leaking, at the time of pictures of Zhang Lin and Shou Shou are also being circulated on many websites with the heading "girlfriend sex scandal" in Mandarin showing the couple playing in the water. He has since reportedly deny having a romantic relationship with Shou Shou but admit knowing her. The photos of the two that are circulating on the Internet are from a publicity photo shoot they shot together in a pool for a sports magazine. After clinching the silver medal in the men's 400m freestyle, Zhang Lin savours the joy of celebrity. Now he is experiencing the downside of celebrity.

In Rome 2009 World Aquatics Championships men's 800 meter freestyle final, Zhang Lin swam well, with 7 minutes and 32 seconds he broke the 7 minutes and 38 seconds world record by 7 seconds. He becomes the first Chinese Men's swimmer to win World Championship gold medal. After Zhang Lin became the World Championships in swimming, the media, of course, did not spare his model girlfriend the "beast beast" from attention. They seemed like the perfect couple then but their relationship is in question now in light of the sex videos being leaked. Zhang is expected to be one of China's top male athlete at the 2012 London Summer Olympics. Zhang has yet to publicly comment on Shou Shou's sex tapes. But he has reportedly said in private that he is afraid that the sex videos will also be subject to a certain degree of "negative impact" on him.
